An opportunity has been created where our client is seeking for Junior Web Developer who has recently graduated or soon to be completing university or similar training that would like to join a small, fast paced organisation who provide point of sale technology in the hospitality and bottle shop markets.

The role is full-time and you will be based in their Roseville offices with a focus on developing and customising websites with online sales capability, working with our existing and new customers.

Essential skills and experience

• Knowledge of .NET, PHP/MVC/CSS3, HTML5
• Knowledge of API development and integration (REST, SOAP or JSON-RPC) JavaScript & jQuery
• Proficiency with and knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem is mandatory.
• Knowledge in implementation and consumption of common data formats such as JSON, XML
• Knowledge of code management tools such as GIT, SVN
• Knowledge of project management tools such as asana, trello or teamwork PM
• Confidence working both directly with clients and with an account management team

Desirable skills and experience

• React, AngularJS and/or other JavaScript frameworks
• Backend PHP programming
• Knowledge in analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel
• Agile development skills
• Work experience in the Hospitality Industry (Bar, Bottle shop, Hotel etc)
