GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed (GNG) engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry. We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Junior Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Team in Ascot - this role will play an integral part in all payroll processing activity where we currently run on a weekly payroll for 450+ employees.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
• Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Complying with relevant awards and legislation
• Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
• Working with employees to resolve any payroll discrepancies
• Preparation and payment of all State and Federal tax obligations including PAYG tax, Payroll tax, Superannuation Guarantee contributions

What are we looking for:

• Minimum 12 months experience processing payroll
• Able to work well in team environments and with key stakeholders across the business
• Strong organisational skills able to adhere to tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience working with GreenTree will be advantageous
