Description:
As part of the ICT Applications Team, you will provide ongoing development, administration, integration, and the ongoing support and upgrades of the institute’s on-premises and on cloud solutions. You will work closely with a wide range of the institute’s community, wider ICT team, as well as staff from other departments and external vendors. Role and responsibilities:
- Analysing business requirements and translating them into workable technical solutions
- Integrating existing on-premises systems with new cloud-based solutions
- Providing technical support, advice, and assistance in maintaining on-premises as well as cloud-based systems
- Identifying security issues by continuously reviewing for vulnerabilities
- Contributing as a proactive and effective member of a vibrant professional services team
- Efficiently engaging in cross team collaboration to deliver consistent, business-aligned solutions based on shared knowledge and understanding
- What you need to succeed
- A degree level qualification / post graduate qualification
- 2+ years’ experience working on Cloud Service Providers including Azure / AWS platforms
- Fair knowledge of integration technologies, especially MuleSoft, designing and developing integration and maintaining Mulesoft APIs, services and connectors.
- Computer programming skills and adequate knowledge of computer languages, C# / .NET Core, Java, Python, etc.
- ITIL Certification (desirable)
