Junior Executive

Telum Media is Australia, NZ and Asia Pacific’s premier media intelligence and contacts platform, creating connections between the media and PR worlds, and we’re looking for an all-rounder to join our team in Sydney. We want an ambitious Junior Executive to join our PR News team, as well as work in our front-line customer support team.

You will generate content, conduct research, interview and meet with the industry’s movers and shakers, deepen our data, and be fastidious in your approach to accuracy. Expect to build a career in a fast-paced, data-driven environment as part of a dynamic, international team.  

The ideal candidate will have excellent command of written English, and not be afraid of the telephone either. You will also have some relevant experience in journalism / content / media, or a communications / PR degree / internship(s). 

Duties would include:

• Writing long and short-form news content and features about the PR and communications industry
• Helping (along with a team of others) to staff our customer service inbox and phone line.
• Working on client requests, queries, and data tasks
• Coordinating and ensuring the speedy delivery and closure of client requests and queries
• Assisting with some event administration

We want our team grow with us and will provide ongoing training and support, but you will already have:

• Great customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate computer skills (Office) and the ability and willingness to learn new platforms.
• The ability to manage time, prioritise and multi-task.
• An eagle-eye attention to detail
