Junior Devops Engineer

Description:

You will be contributing to developing and expanding our multi-cloud hosting primarily in Azure, maintaining and expanding our CI/CD with deployments to Kubernetes and VM infrastructure across the world. There is no expectation that you are an expert in these technologies, but you should have a keen interest in digging into these technologies and mastering them.

You have an analytical approach to understand and interpret complex engineering processes in backend development. Preferred candidates will have an interest in acquiring knowledge within port and maritime software solutions, especially within the operational aspect of running maritime forecast systems

You will be based in our office in Gold Coast with our team of engineers, developers, and project managers. You have great communication skills and work effectively in bi-lateral agile project teams involving national and international colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• B. Software Engineering or similar
• Have a strong aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Take initiative for solving problems, and strong problem-solving ability.
• Interest in mastering Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Terraform
• Programming experience, e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#
• Ability to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
