- This is an initial 6-month engagement with Revenue NSW.
- In this role, you will be trained in Application Development using latest cutting-edge enterprise technology. This should provide you with an opportunity to break into a high demand career path providing you a solid foundation to future-proof your career and enable you to solve problems for the citizen of NSW in new and creative ways.
- You will be guided and handheld in your initial training stages which should empower you to contribute on real user stories in a highly efficient team.
- You will learn a vast array of modern technologies and approaches including:
- Java v8, Spring Boot Hibernate on AWS
- Microservices
- React
- Test Driven Development
- React/JavaScript
- Agile
- Have strong Computing and Object-oriented Programming (OOP) Fundamentals
- Are comfortable working in Java and microservices.
- Are happy to roll their sleeves up and have a can-do attitude
- Are comfortable in a merit-based environment where opinions are valued and best idea wins
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have the desire to grow as a technologist and learn from arguably one of the strongest Govt. engineering teams in Australia!
- You will have the opportunity to gain practical on the job experience in a 6-month job placement post completion of training, working with our world class Engineers in the Revenue Digital Integration Squad
