Currently working on significant and impactful projects in the medical, consumer, venture and commercialisation sectors, they are looking for a creative Junior Industrial Designer with content creation experience to join their thriving team.

The Role

To succeed in this design role, you'll need a passion for social media and short form video content creation. You must be able to communicate stories, successes and experiences across various social media platforms and the company website. You will drive the storyboarding of content ideas and be responsible for shooting, editing and posting engaging and breakthrough video content. As a content designer you will work with a creative and experienced team on leading deep tech development projects across the whole design process from concept visuals to detailed design to prototyping; working across diverse and complex projects requiring people who are excited by challenge.

Skills and experience

With at least two years' experience in a similar role creating content for brands or agencies, you'll have:

• Degree in Industrial Design or related discipline, with solid understanding of product design development process - preferred

• A passion for short form video content creation including vlog production and ability to create content on the go and pivot to being a visual designer

• A personality that is constantly inspired, passionate and which motivates those around you

• Experience in videography, motion graphic design and photography

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite skills including Premiere Pro and After Effects - essential

• Ability to use 3D CAD, rendering and animation tools - a plus

• Confident presentation and storytelling abilities

• Strong visual skills, including an eye for aesthetics, lighting, shot composition and use of colour and graphics

• Ability to be flexible, multi-task and meet deadlines on multiple concurrent programs

• An empathetic user advocate, with experience in translating user research and insights into exciting and smart design solutions
