Java Engineer

Salt is excited to have partnered with one of Australia's leading Financial Services organisations based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join one of their high-performing engineering teams on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be joining our Financial Services client's innovative digital engineering teams, where you'll help with the development of various complex APIs and Micro services, as well as the delivery of multi-cloud solutions.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Senior Java Engineer should have the following skill set:

• Expertise in Java related technologies
• Experience in developing complex Java solutions using Java 8+
• Strong knowledge working with Micro service architectures (Spring boot, Gradle, Kafka)
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Commercial experience with AWS and DevOps principles
• Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
