Java Developers, Banking, Remote work available, 6 month contract

Our client who are a QLD based Bank are looking for 2 Java Developers on an initial 6 month contract basis.There is new project work available, a merger coming up, as well as BAU activity.

You will be looking at gathering and documenting business requirements, helping put together solutions that can help meet business needs. You will be designing and documenting APIs, applications, and solutions to ensure that knowledge remains available, support software running in production to ensure continuity of service to customers and staff.

We are looking for skills in the following areas:-

• Knowledge in CI/CD tools, Jenkins/Docker/Openshift
• Knowledge in Java and common libraries and frameworks
• Understanding of Java and API security practices
• Understanding of integration patterns and object oriented design patterns, programming principles, and techniques
• Experience building RESTful API endpoints
• Experience working within an agile, cross-functional team
