Job Description :

1 Core Java developer with Strong knowledge in Java J2EE, spring, hibernate, sql db, JavaScript, html, ajax.

2 Expertise in Rest and SOAP based services

4 Experience in test driven development using jUnit and Mockito or related framework.

5 Have hands on with Maven, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins

6 Should have worked in Agile environment and have exposure to DevOps tools and processes

7 Exposure to SQL Databases is must.

8 Must have an ability to troubleshoot production problems, technically contribute to bug fixing on release line.

9 Understanding of Micro Services Architecture will be helpful.

10 Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS and Docker/Rancher/kubernetes is added advantage.

11 Candidate should also be flexible in exploring and learning other related technologies.

12 Experience in Struts, WebSphere, Oracle, DB2, Postgres.

Job Requirements :

1. Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
2. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related IT discipline
3. 10 years development experience preferred with minimum 5 years. (3+ years building enterprise applications with Java 8+)
4. Experience in helping build team capability, establishing & influencing
5. processes/practices and working well in a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
8. Continuous improvement mindset
9. Experience working in agile, lean, Devops & cross functional teams
10. Expertise in use of JIRA and Confluence
