Undertake information technology support tasks in accordance with the requirements of a Certificate III or IV Information Technology Traineeship

Duties

Successfully achieve the required competency standards of the Certificate III and or IV Information Technology Traineeship. This includes assessment as competent in the required units of competency including the following skill areas:

• Migrating to new technology
• Basic system administration
• Running standard diagnostic tests
• Time management and project integration
• Relating to clients on a business level
• Providing advice to clients and one to one instruction
• Develop macros and templates for clients
• Customising and installing software applications
