Description:
This role will support a portfolio of IT projects, help to effectively manage key project deliverables and coordinate the successful implementation of technology solutions in line with key stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will be based out of our Melbourne office in a full-time, permanent position and will be reporting to the Pacific IT Programme Manager.
To be successful in the role, the individual must possess an ability to work as part of a team within defined policies and procedures but also have a demonstrated ability to work in an autonomous manner in providing proactive support into both the end user and internal IT priority initiatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Assisting with planning and implementation of multiple concurrent projects
- Successful administration of the Agile project management framework, processes, and tools
- Facilitating the definition of project scope and key deliverables
- Developing detailed schedules, project plans, budgets and resource maps
- Tracking and communication of project status and performance against key performance indicators
- Proactively identifying, managing and resolving project issues and risks
- Liaising with 3rd Parties and internal cross-functional teams – Global Information Systems, Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance and Legal
- Ensuring project stakeholders and management are kept appropriately informed of project status and maintain sufficient record of meetings and decisions made
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred degree in IT related area is preferred but not essential)
- Exposure to basic Mobile App Development and Project Management concepts (preferred)
- Proficiency in using Google Documents (financial spreadsheets, presentations and collaboration tools)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- An ability to understand process, think outside the box and work well with others
- Strong analytic/problem solving skills and detailed orientation
- An ability to remain calm and comfortable when dealing with high levels of change and uncertainty
