Description:
As a member of a small team, you will partner with colleagues within and outside of the Fund to achieve sustainable outcomes that best service the members.
You will be joining a Fund focused on growth and retention and achieving the best retirement outcomes for members.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain investment fee calculations for PDS production and formally sign off prior to publication;
- Manage a partnership relationship with custodian and investment managers with a focus on issue resolution improvement opportunities and managing SLA's;
- Coordinate the establishment and closure of accounts through the Custodian;
- Monitor investment portfolio liquidity and prepare operational cash flow forecasts;
- Oversee quality assurance of custodian investment performance reporting;
- Complete, review and reconcile APRA reporting relating to Investments (SPS500 and 700 series) prior lodgement and resolve any discrepancies; and
- Project manage the delivery of the Superannuation Data transformation project.
You will have:
- Significant and practical experience gained within a superannuation fund, investment manage or custodian environment;
- Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and processes;
- Exceptional problem solving and influencing skills;
- A professional, cooperative, practical, and proactive mode of working;
- Sound negotiation skills performed with tact and diplomacy;
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills -concise, confident, and accurate;
- Proven capability in project management; and
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable
