Your new role

Your Key Duties Will Involve

Reporting to the senior accountants and management team, your role will involve the preparation and maintenance of accurate records for numerous entities, processing reports and statements for further review by the senior accounting team members.

• Preparation of monthly financial reports, reporting on the status of the firm's assets and investments. Preparing annual financial reports and tax returns, BAS statements, tax returns, cashflows and budgets.
• Overseeing audited accounts
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end audits, analysis of accounts, compliance, and regulatory checks
• Coordinating with investors, and key stakeholders, ensuring the highest standard of client service
• Conducting research in support of management decisions, strategy, and business objectives, evaluating assets, budgets, and overall portfolios
• The ability to work within and coordinate a team, although not at a senior or supervisor level you will be working with others and as such must have excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified or equivalent, have a relevant degree in accounting and have previous experience in a similar position in a commercial business. Experience in preparation and review of financial statements, corporate regulatory reports, extensive knowledge of statutory reporting requirements, industry regulations and compliance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, have a high attention to detail, the willingness to achieve and succeed and the drive to perform in a fast-paced industry.
