Integration Engineer

Due to the company’s continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Integration Engineer. Reporting to the Lead Business Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and integrating the data communication process. Essentially you will ensure that two or more programs can communicate effectively without barriers.

More specifically, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data integration solutions
• Collaborate with the application managers, vendor partners, IT and business stakeholders to understand use cases and requirements
• Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs
• Perform deployment of integrations to non-production and production environments
• Research new opportunities for data acquisition and determine data structural requirements
• Develop data integration standards and templates
• Improve processes regarding data flow and quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value
• Consult with the business to identify and recommend approaches for improving data exchange
• Continuously identify areas of improvement and ensure application of standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and incidents related to BI services

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:

• 3+ years’ experience in integration development
• Strong understanding of ELT and ETL processes for data warehouse / data lake
• Skills in PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of SOAP/XML/JMS/JSON, basic level understanding of REST principles, and REST and SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of integration tools such as Dell Boomi, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake or Mulesoft
• Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and support of a file-based integration for both batch and real time in a complex environment
• Experience working in a complex enterprise data environment of ERP, CRM, HCM, PLM and other systems
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud
