About The Role
As an Insurance Investigator, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding RACQ's integrity by conducting thorough investigations into potential fraudulent claims and policy breaches. Your responsibilities will include
- Conducting detailed interviews with members, customers, and third parties.
- Assessing evidence related to various insurance claims, including Home, Motor, Pet, and CTP insurance.
- Compiling comprehensive reports and providing recommendations to claims owners, legal teams, and underwriting departments.
- Identifying risks that may affect RACQ's strategic goals and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring all investigative processes align with the General Insurance Code of Practice (GICOP) and adhere to relevant regulatory standards, including those set by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission).
About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in investigations. The ideal candidate will have
- Experience 1-3 years in a relevant field, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong analytical abilities, and excellent relationship management skills.
- Knowledge Familiarity with insurance industry practices and regulations, particularly the Insurance Code of Practice, or a willingness to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
