About The Role
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
As the Initiatives Analyst, you will be responsible to working with Initiative Lead, Product Owners to support the delivery of key Talent & Culture strategic initiatives and priorities.
Delivery of initiatives and business analysis
Deliver initiatives within agreed timescales, adopting new ways of working
Find the best path for delivery of the Initiative that balances overall completion and total investment with minimisation of time to value, with a ‘system-wide’ view and deep understanding of risk and appropriate mitigate of delivery and process risk
Proactively share learnings and learn from others through the process of change
Project related analysis and initiative requirements gathering
Holistic approach through design and implementation of initiatives, appreciating impacts on “downstream” or across tribe activity
Connecting across tribes, teams and geographies in support of designing and delivering on T&C initiatives to enhance quality of service for end users
Governance and methodology alignment
Creation and maintenance of process/project documentation in support of the initiative being delivered
Support Product Owners and Initiative Leads to ensure initiatives are delivered within defined cost, time constraints and complex operating environment
Deliver required project and change related communications
Apply project management disciplines including agile methodology to deliver initiatives
Demonstrate application of best practice of different methodologies to improve end user experience
Facilitate key project ceremonies e.g. running stand-up meetings
Track and escalate risk and issues
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in managing medium to complex change across the organisation
Demonstrated ability in process re-engineering
Experience in working with systems including ServiceNow, Workday, SuccessFactors
Ability to take both a strategic, system-wide view as well as sufficient detail to translate this in to meaningful delivery plans
Demonstrate a thirst for better understanding the employee, define the problem and develop solutions through their eyes
Actively and visibly ask for feedback and role model sharing failures and weaknesses in the interest of learning Known for getting stuff done I effectively synthesise multiple sources of information and leverage a broad network of connections to relentlessly prioritise and execute
Be curious about what’s happening internally and externally and how we use this information to better inform our decisions and actions
Can appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a medium complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represent consolidated findings.
Ability to solve problems: use critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for the end user and the bank
Change champion: Passionate ambassador for our new way of working and culture
