Description:
We are seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Planning Manager as part of the Engineering and Technical Support business providing functional leadership of Sydney Water’s Renewals and Maintenance Investment and Works Planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Renewals and Maintenance program specialists in the delivery of our forward renewal and maintenance plans, responsible for the rolling review of the work program delivery and optimise the allocation of resources for best cost, risk and performance outcomes.
- Manage the team responsible for and monitoring the successful completion of the 1-5 year maintenance and reliability plans and that these maintenance plans are achieving our organisational performance, cost and risk goals.
- Lead application of core engineering expertise in relevant competencies and/or asset classes to achieve relevant asset value chain outcomes (design, construction, maintenance) to time, cost and performance requirements
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent, with demonstrated experience and skills in development and operationalisation of Asset Management functions.
- A comprehensive understanding of asset management or similar developed through industry experience with a minimum 10-year experience in related activities
- Experience in the development and management of infrastructure portfolios to evidence prudent investment decision making and realisation of benefits.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to synthesise and consolidate a large amount of information for clarity of objective and outcome.
