Position purpose:

Intrepid is looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Lead that will be responsible for implementation, improvement, maintenance, and support of system infrastructure as part of a global security, infrastructure, and modernisation project.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a global project, delivering solutions and making an impact across many technologies. The role is critical role in improving the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the Intrepid Group’s systems.

What will you be doing?

Your key responsibility will be to enhance and improve existing systems and lead the maintenance and support. You will be reporting to the Head of Cyber Security and Infrastucture; you will join a newly formed team and assist with both local and remote teams.  

You will lead the delivery of standardized systems, through system upgrades and updates that are highly available and secure.

The role will also assist building out the security practice to improve the maturity of cyber security at intrepid.

Who are you?

• Tertiary qualifications in IT
• Industry recognised certification or currently study, highly regarded
• 3+ years’ experience in Infrastructure or System administration related roles
• Experience in implementation and supporting of server hardware and virtualization platforms
• Experience in implementation, upgrading and supporting of Server operating systems
• Experience in implementation, upgrading and supporting of Client operating systems
• Experience with Server and System backups
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365
• Experience or knowledge of PKI and DNS
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Experience with Identity and Authentication platforms
• Experience with Endpoint Detection Response solutions
• Experience with Device management and Patching solutions
• Experience or knowledge with Cloud Systems
• Experience or knowledge of Agile
• Experience or knowledge of modern workplace solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and customer relationship skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
