Information Technology Support Officer

 

Description:

Technology / Skills Required:

  • 3+ years working at a managed service provider or equivalent client-facing service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Active Directory,  and Windows Desktop
  • Experience with Virtualisation Technologies (HyperV, VMware vSphere)
  • NAS and SAN administration experience.
  • Extensive experience with LAN/WAN networking including firewalls, VPN, VLANs and WiFi
  • Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud vendors
  • Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016,Veeam & Manage Engine

     · PowerShell scripting & Linux CentOS servers

      · Fortinet router/firewalls, Ubiquiti switches and access points

      · Cyber security mitigation, security upgrades etc

 

 Also desirable, but not essential, is experience in:

  • Sophos & Forinet Firewalls
  • Networking
  • Service desk ticketing system
  • Microsoft Azure
  • IP Telephony
  • PRTG Network Monitoring System (NMS)
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, AWS and other relevant vendors will be highly regarded
