We have a strong focus on releasing to market innovative programs that better meet the needs of our customers. These market leading programs include the development of unique product, packaging, merchandising and sales support materials.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Designer who also has an interest in Graphic design to join our Marketing Division as we embark on an exciting growth phase within our business. You’ll be working closely with our Sales & Marketing team to ensure we continue to build our brand & deliver the desired financial results.

As our Industrial/Graphic Designer you’d be responsible for:

• 3D modelling and creating product renders via Solid works & Solid works Visualise (essential)
• Generation of tech drawings via Solid works (essential)
• Interpreting design briefs and determine requirements to work on projects from concept to completion
• Working with the Senior Designer and Senior Management teams to create consistency and seamless brand experiences across multiple platforms
• Design & print of packaging, point of sale, in-store merchandising, digital and social media management
• Have strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
• Bring with you effect or video editing skills (ideal)
• Research and identify digital and social media trends to help grow engagement across key stakeholders
• Product photo retouching and editing

To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design
• 3-5 Years’ experience within a design environment
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve
• Willingness to learn and grow with the business
• Knowledge of printing and packaging requirements
• Confident in Mac and PC operation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Confident working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Experience in working within brand guidelines across multiple platforms
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• A strong eye for detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately

Desirable:

• Proficient with Solid works/Solid works Visualise
• Proficient with the Adobe suite
• Experience in developing content to generate social media campaigns
• Proficiency in email marketing programs such as MailChimp or similar
