About the Position:

The Clocks IC participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and leads activities related to hardware clock configuration. Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, testing network connectivity, configuring the Ceridian clock solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, working with WFM consultants on related configuration, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Essential Functions:
 

  • Provide Implementation services to customers as they relate to hardware clocks
  • Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to Ceridian clock functionality
  • Configure Ceridian clocks to meet customer’s documented business requirements
  • Conduct consulting sessions and document with meeting minutes
  • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
  • Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas related to hardware clocks
  • Be a “go-to” resource for clocks for both internal and external users
  • Contribute to internal Implementation and clocks team initiatives
  • Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository
  • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review internal newsletter on a regular basis and respond to questions
  • Review internal documentation on a regular basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release 
     

Education/Skill/Experience Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Software Implementation role or 2+ years in an IT consulting role 
     

Technical Skills Requirements:
 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • IP Networking Fundamentals (Basics of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6 addressing and subnetting) and familiarity with network infrastructure (e.g. DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational databases systems

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to bring high complexity customer issues to resolution

  • Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to work on-call if required
