At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community. To help us achieve this we are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated IT Project Officer to join our Digital Technology team.

To succeed in this role you will have a Tertiary qualification in IT or Project Management, or other qualification deemed relevant, along with demonstrated experience as part of a successful Information Technology Project team. Strong communication skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and a proven ability to solve problems and analyze information are also required. Attention to detail is a must for this role.

Local Government experience is highly regarded, along with a demonstrated ability to document and articulate each aspect of a project.

On a typical day this role will:

  • Track and record project status, communicating status adequately to all stakeholders
  • Support the program/project manager with preparation and coordination of documents and management of resources
  • Ensuring project quality and compliance
  • Assist with meetings including preparation of materials, presentation packs, reports and status updates

Our digital technology team make sure the council have the information technology we need to operate effectively. Comprised within this group are our service desk, infrastructure, information management and business technology staff to support the council.
