We are a dynamic, multifaceted business seeking a ICT Operations Coordinator, with passion and drive to support the business.

Your new role

This role reports to MIGA’s ICT Manager, and is responsible for:

  • Managing the ICT support team
  • Acting as an escalation point between staff and higher-level ICT support
  • Assisting the ICT Manager with designing and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture and providing technical advice
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operational support and MIGA contracts SLA’s
  • Providing technical support and training for MIGA applications and infrastructure
  • Ensuring effective provisioning, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems and related infrastructure
  • Ensuring that MIGA’s systems and related infrastructure is compliant with Security and Governance frameworks and policies
  • Providing 2IC coverage for the ICT Manager whenever on leave or absent from office
  • Providing regular reporting to the ICT Manager

 

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • At least 3-5 years working in a technical, management or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated experience with ICT systems and infrastructure at senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience in ICT Service Desk management and to meet SLA’s and customer expectation
  • Ability to identify technical and process gaps and suggest improvements
  • Demonstrated effective team and task management
  • Certification or proficient experience in:
    • VMware or HyperV
    • Microsoft Server
    • Azure and Microsoft 365
    • ITIL
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology is desirable
  • Experience working in the general insurance industry is desirable.
