Position Summary

Keolis Downer is the largest private provider of multimodal public transport in Australia supporting over 250 million passenger journeys annually in Australia. Working closely with transport authorities we operate and integrate all transport modes and co-design mobility solutions that are safe, reliable, sustainable and adapted to the evolving needs of the community and customer through our “think like a Passenger” approach.

Keolis Downer was recently awarded the Sydney Region 8 contract to operate and maintain bus services in the Northern Beaches and the lower North Shore which will work closely with Transport for NSW to deliver a range of initiatives to further enhance the journey and experience of customers across all aspects.

About The Position

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services this position is responsible and accountable for the management of the Information Applications and the ICT infrastructure of the KD Bus Operations. This spans business architecture, application architecture, solution architecture, application and infrastructure design and implementation including application acceptance and testing, service management agreements and associated negotiation and management, including ongoing maintenance.

This is an operational and strategic position that will see you engage, collaborate and partner with the operations on a day to day transaction expertise capacity as well as support future business requirements which might include sourcing and selecting applications.

What You Will Bring

You will be an experienced ICT leader that has demonstrated experience in large scale operational IT management, preferably the transport industry. You will be a strong and effective communicator able to work day to day with operational stakeholders as well as think and collaborate effectively strategically to develop and implement best fit ICT solutions.

• Your subject matter expertise in practical and strategic management of ICT infrastructure, operations and service delivery
• Proven experience in uplifting overall system security to identify and mitigate risk of cyber security threats
• Sound understanding and experience of adoption and implementation of IT Infrastructure library practices
• Proven experience in the management of outsourced service providers, including cost control
• Proven track record of successful delivery of ICT projects and services in a complex environment, especially ERP implementation
• Knowledge and experience of delivering and managing cloud-based applications
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or ITIL Certification are highly desirable
