We are currently seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our Buildings Services team based in our global head office in Fortitude Valley. You will work with a range of technical professionals to deliver engineering solutions for a variety of Building Services projects ranging from schools, hospitals, commercial and other civic buildings, covering the east coast of Australia.

The role

Your responsibilities will include -

• Liaising directly with clients and contractors
• Detailed design of hydraulics and fire sprinklers for building services projects
• Contribute to a range of projects from concept to detailed design
• Project Management - ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets
• Provision of advice on standards and guidelines to clients

About you

To be successful for this role you will display –

• Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience as a Hydraulic Designer within a consulting or contracting environment
• QBCC Hydraulic Supervisor Licence
• Demonstrated experience working on building services projects and wet fire services
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is desirable
• AHSCA Membership is desirable
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
