The role will split time between the Central Coast and Chatswood, or entirely on the Central Coast.

 

The role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR specialist with experience in Talent Acquisition to join the team, located on the beautiful Central Coast. An integral part of the team and our success, you will provide a specialist in-house recruitment service to the business. This is an exciting time to join this established brand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the recruitment strategy and strategic workforce planning activity. 
  • Provide an end to end recruitment service to the business, nationally, ensuring excellent stakeholder engagement and a pleasurable candidate experience.
  • Utilise your expertise and in-depth knowledge of the market and contemporary sourcing solutions to attract the right candidate, to the right role, at the right time.
  • Evaluate candidate suitability through telephone screening and shortlisting for line managers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks including right to work and associated visa processes, reference checking, criminal record checks, and pre-employment medical screening.
  • Onboarding including employment contracts and new-starter documentation ensuring a seamless process for new employees.
  • Agency management and contract negotiations ensuring a job-ready pool of agency staff.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions, working in partnership with line managers.
  • Seek to continuously improve the recruitment process and candidate experience through a variety of HR projects and initiatives. 

 

Requirements:

  • A passionate and highly driven individual able to provide a proactive and forward-thinking recruitment service to meet business needs and to continually attract talent. 
  • Contemporary recruitment experience with a proven candidate placement record coupled with strong sourcing networks.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Strategic thinking coupled with strong negotiation skills resulting in positive outcomes.
