Position Summary

Responsible for providing broad-ranging HR support to managers and employees across the Australian business – in areas including (but not limited to) talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, and learning & development. This includes providing HR business partnering support to managers and acting as a first point of contact for employees in relation to HR-related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Providing strategic HR advice to managers across Australia
  • Working with the Local Management Team in Australia to ensure that that Oceaneering’s HSE Management System and expectations are fully implemented with Regional Operations and compliant with local regulations
  • Implementing recruitment and onboarding processes and strategies in consultation with the Regional HR Manager Asia Pacific and HR Advisor
  • Partnering with senior management to support business decision making
  • Assisting in implementing an Employee and Industrial Relations strategy which supports the broader HR strategy
  • Implementing and maintaining HR related processes and associated procedures and policies
  • Supporting organisational development activities
  • Recruitment - coordinating the design and development of recruitment and resourcing plans to attract and retain strong candidates
  • Learning and Development - developing and implementing systems and processes which ensure the sustainable learning and development of employees throughout the Australian business units
  • Initiating and promoting continuous improvement of HR-related procedures and policies
  • Assisting the Regional HR Manager Asia Pacific with HR projects and initiatives as required
