The Role
Reporting to Senior Manager Marketing and working as an integral member of the HST ANZ team, The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and project managing marketing and sales activities, including events across the HST business. This is a pivotal role which would be a good steppingstone for someone looking to build their career in marketing within healthcare.
Key responsibilities
Manage daily administration tasks to ensure HST Marketing function runs smoothly
Provide support to Marketing for specific marketing projects as required
Provide sales support as required and manage marketing sample and exhibition stock including sending and receiving
Assist with price and product maintenance updates
Manage demo and rental stock requests and liaise with Supply and the Warehouse to organise deliveries.
Complete timely reports and analytics for HST Marketing as required
Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels; and opportunity to lead mini marketing projects
Support Marketing leads with tender submissions and pricing strategy
Assist with organising in-person and virtual events including seminars, roadshows, sending sample packs, internal sales & Marketing meetings, education and in-service events
Identify, schedule and coordinate Health Care Professional (HCP) events.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline
At least 5 years’ experience managing events preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical or fast-moving consumer goods environment
Computer literacy including advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite of software
A keen interest in Adobe Professional, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Publisher & other desktop publishing applications
Strong relationship management and the ability to drive multiple tasks to completion successfully
Strong project management capability
Independent, capable of working unsupervised with plenty of initiative
Strong organizational skills & project management skills; ability to set priorities and deliver on agreed goals
Ability to juggle competing priorities effectively and work well under pressure
