Description:
- HSE Database administration and data input.
- Assist HSE Advisor to demonstrate to statutory bodies that Qube has appropriate safety, health, environment and quality management processes developed.
- Assist with the development of a training needs analysis (including gap analysis), including the identification of training needs and the development of a site training plan. Monitor the implementation of the training plan with respect to critical training.
- Assist with booking site inductions and coordinating travel requirements.
- Promote the safety vision of Qube and effectively communicate safety standards to Supervisors and Employees.
- Assist Managers and Supervisors in the establishment of HSE documents (Procedures, SWI)
- Assist Supervisors in the investigation of incidents (ICAM), monitor established corrective actions.
- Participate in scheduled safety meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid C class drivers Licence (Essential)
- Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety (Preferred or willingness to obtain)
- ICAM Investigator (Preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Intermediate level experience with Excel, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
- A demonstrated ability to adapt written and oral communication/presentation style to suit different audiences.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
- Experience planning and scheduling projects/programs and managing details and documentation within specified timeframes.
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- A working understanding of safety within mining industry.
- Ability to undertake risk assessments.
- Ability to analyse information, develop plans to address safety issues.
- Understanding of training principles and their application in addressing HSE issues.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and processes.
