Within our People and Culture Operations function we’ve made some exciting changes, including the establishment of a People Systems & Analytics team. This centralised team support the design, build, and maintenance of critical People & Culture management systems and offer bespoke analytics services.

To continue to support the People & Culture function to achieve strategic and operational goals the People Systems & Analytics team have a permanent opportunity for an HRIS Systems Analyst (internally referred to as People Systems Analyst). This role will act as an administrator of critical HR systems, loading critical data, designing and implementing ETL processes, monitoring and verifying reports, as well as supporting business initiatives and projects.

Reporting into the People Systems Manager you will service key business stakeholders to make modifications and enhancements to existing systems and use-cases. Bringing your experience with at least one of the following HR information systems (HRIS): Technology One, PageUp, Learning Management System (Seertech LMS) or Qualtrics (surveys), you’ll apply your analytical mindset, constantly being on the lookout for opportunities to increase operational efficiency or enhance reporting. You will also interface across the business to support the execution of project-based work.

Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne or Bendigo for the days that you are in the office, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work. We’re also open to people working remotely and will consider applicants based anywhere in Australia.

As the People Systems Analyst you will:
Support People Systems & Analytics BAU operation of Technology One, PageUp, Learning Management System (Seertech LMS) & Qualtrics
Support changes to forms, workflow (CiA) and User Group management (LMS)
Be responsible for data integrity, loading and verification
Manage testing, review, and implementation of system maintenance, releases, upgrades, and modification
Collaborate with technical staff to implement fixes as required
Clearly communicate any changes and follow a structured approach to change management to ensure initiatives are implemented into the business with minimal disruption
Ensure development of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
Help design, develop, and execute new ETL process to support projects and initiatives
Work with People Systems teams and stakeholders to identify and create operational efficiency improvements
Propose and develop ETL processes within the current and future systems architecture

To be successful in the role, you'll have:
A relevant tertiary degree in IT, Technology or similar related field
Strong Systems thinking, ideally with prior experience in an HR or Systems Administrator role
Demonstrated experience with at least one of the following: Technology One, PageUp, LMS (Seertech LMS) or Qualtrics
Basic ETL knowledge to support automation and integration of data from different systems and databases
Knowledge and experience working with a range of HR policies and managing their application from a system perspective
Solid understanding of general and specialist HR concepts and principles
A high level of computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
The ability to problem solve, apply judgement, provide advice as well as alternatives
A collaborative mindset and be able to build strong business relationships
Previous experience operating in an agile environment
Advanced Excel skills and a demonstrated ability to develop reports, analyse and interpret data would be advantageous
