HR Officer needed to support day-to-day operations across a generalist role in a senior school in the east

Your new company
Your new organisation is a private school located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.


Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Staff, your new temporary contract will see you manage an operational role involving generalist and recruitment responsibilities for the College. This will include:

 

  • End-to-end recruitment, including pre-employment checks, onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintenance of the College database (Synergetic)
  • Contracts and variations
  • Answering HR-related queries from staff and liaising with payroll
  • Support Return to Work processes as required



What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you must have previous experience working in a generalist HR position, ideally within the education environment. Use of Synergetic will be looked on favourably, as will experience using My Recruitment Plus. You will have strong recruitment skills but be willing to help out as required in other areas of the HR space.

This is a full-time position for at least 6 weeks but has the strong possibility of extension.
