As our HR Manager you will further build on the growth, success, and development of Spendless by contributing your knowledge and experience in the areas of Learning and Development, Culture, Change Management and Employee Engagement. You will also be tech savvy, have experience using LMS Systems and work collaboratively in the growth and development of our people, our brand and most importantly our culture.

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Learning and Development functions including induction, training and continue to build the company new LMS platform (Elmo).
  • Build the leadership capability and competencies within.
  • Review and develop initiatives to continuously monitor and improve culture and employee engagement.
  • Help establish and champion wellbeing and wellness initiatives.
  • Mentor our Area Managers to build workforce plans for their stores.
  • Manage communication and engagement processes regarding Covid-19 or any changes in the business.
  • Develop and lead the Company PDRP (performance development) process.
  • Enhancement of a positive workplace culture, including the development of cultural and team improvement initiatives.
  • Development and implementation of the company leadership development programs.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to develop our training programs.
  • Develop an internal mental health and wellbeing program.

To be successful you will:

  • Tertiary education in Human Resources Management or similar.
  • Certificate lV in Training and Assessment (preferred)
  • Previous experience in an organisational development, learning and/or HR business partnering role in a medium to large company
  • Experience using EMS systems, preferably ELMO.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing employee engagement strategies.
  • Experience in design and implementation of online and face to face learning and performance programs.
  • Critical thinking skills to balance the needs of our Team members and organisational objectives

Your Skills:

  • Highly developed coaching and presentation capabilities.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills capabilities; and
  • Ability to work autonomously, take accountability and be solution-focussed
  • Exceptional execution/planning and organising skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and be a trusted advisor
