I'm currently working with a leading mining operation seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team on an 18-month parental relief contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on-site at their facility, with a 9-day fortnight, camp and meals are provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for HR professionals looking to expand their experience in the mining industry. My client is open to candidates from other sectors with relevant HR experience. Key Responsibilities
 

• Coordinating the Graduate and Apprenticeship programs.
• Supporting the recruitment process from implementation to completion.
• Providing leaders with timely, accurate advice on employee and industrial relations matters, along with insights on HR trends and developments.
• Assisting in a leadership support role alongside the Senior HR Coordinator and HR Manager.
   

About You:
 

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• HR experience within the mining sector. ( desirable but not essential )
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or SAP. ( desirable but not essential )
• At least 2 years of experience in a HR role with a strong understanding of HR functions, including state and federal employment legislation, performance management, and recruitment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• A passion for leadership, holding yourself and others accountable to deliver results.
• Ability to build trust and communicate authentically and effectively.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Resilience and adaptability in a continuously improving work environment.
