Immediately opportunity for HR Consultant or HR Graduate to join this supportive HR team focused on Diversity and Inclusion projects. Initially a 3 month time frame which may extend with flexibility for this to be full time or part-time for the right person. Being passionate in this D&I area for business is a must as they are wanting to make a tangible difference and create positive impact in designing and driving key strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives and projects.
Your Responsibilities include (depending on your level of experience and strength) :
- Support the development and implementation of initiatives to build awareness and considerations of diversity and inclusion
- Design and facilitate collaborative workshops with employees to facilitate the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Develop and monitor plans to meet the objectives and goals of Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity (DIBE) Strategy
- Support the implementation of tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure that data is available to report on outcomes
- Opportunity to support the development and implementation of health and safety, and well being programs across the company
- Partner with People & Change team to deliver initiatives that enhance recruitment practices, employee performance, engagement and retention
- Use your knowledge to inform the business of current trends emerging from data and drawing on best practice, to identify approaches that support the business and its diversity and inclusion vision
What you need to bring to this role:
- Tertiary and/or post graduate qualification in Business or Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices relating to recruitment, employee performance, engagement, and retention
- Knowledge or experience in advising employees and leaders on a wide range of D&I matters desirable
- The skills and knowledge required to work as a D&I practitioner or experience working within a D&I team, and a solid understanding of Australian D&I practice
