With full ownership of the creative corporate and retail functions you will have the variety that comes with this true HR generalist role teamed with involvement in a number of key projects across culture, internal coms and system improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of full employee life cycle partnering closely with Design, Marketing and Digital functions as well as Retail functions of the business in Sydney and Melbourne offices
- Lead high quality recruitment and selection processes ensuring appropriate recruitment strategies to maximise talent selection and coaching management around capability in recruitment and selection
- Partner with stakeholders in the development and implementation of effective and creative engagement & retention initiatives such as Remuneration & benefits and reward & recognition initiatives
- Undertake employee surveys, gather exit interview data to drive continuous improvement in P&C
- Maximise the development, career potential and retention of high-performance employees
- Provide guidance and advice to managers in relation to performance management issues, impending employee terminations, or dismissals and coach line managers
- Be responsible to ensure consistent management of ER/IR matters in line with legislation and supporting line managers and employee through these matters
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure Learning and Development within accelerated development framework
- Drive a number of key projects in the business from Culture change, recruitment and retention strategy and HRIS system change
What you need to bring to the role:
- Solid experience in Human Resources, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience working within fast paced, dynamic workplace and confidence in working with Awards (retail or hospitality award experience will be highly regarded but not essential)
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders to coach, guide and influence across the business and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written and time management skills
- Drive and passion to offer best HR practice with natural ability to work well with limited direction but get to required outcomes both in BAU and Projects aspects of the role
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 days in office
