The RPQ provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. As a part of the Downer Group, RPQ employs over 300 staff and have a fleet of over 300 machines. RPQ operates out of locations spread over Queensland and New South Wales and boasts a high level of industry experience across our management, operational and support staff. As RPQ is owned by Downer EDI Limited (DOW) the company has experienced considerable growth over the last five years.

We are looking for a Advanced Workshop Fitter/Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Lismore NSW, where you will be required to carry out repairs and preventative maintenance tasks at our large fully equipped workshop. RPQ and Downer owns and maintains an extensive fleet of road construction equipment including but not limited to pavers, rollers, profilers, trucks, trailers and loaders. A typical working week is Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as required.

You Will Need
 

• Trade qualified diesel fitter
• Road construction equipment experience (pavers, profilers, rollers etc)
• MR licence
• Thorough fault diagnostic ability
• Hydraulic and auto electrical experience preferred
• White card
• Own basic hand tools
• Safety oriented and committed to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
