The Opportunity

 

It's an exciting time for tech and Fullstack is poised to make the most of it. We're seeking our first ever Head of Marketing to lead the company through the next phase of legendary growth. In this role, you will be an important leader at our company, working & executing to increase market share in tech sector accounting & advisory.

 

You’ll define what marketing at Fullstack looks like, how we collaborate with our brand partners to market our services, develop strategies to make each of our programs successful, and build and manage a high performing team. You’ll manage a wide variety of projects in close collaboration with the brands we partner with, as well as colleagues from sales, operations, compliance, our accounting & advisory teams and engineering. And finally, you’ll be part of our leadership team, helping to drive strategy company-wide.

 

Requirements

 

  • Craft overall marketing and growth strategy and execute on a wide range of co-marketing campaigns across key verticals and marketing channels
  • Translate that strategy into clear frameworks that encourage our partners to work with us and invest in marketing & consumer acquisition activities
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the marketing counterparts of the brands we work
  • Be an authority on personalization and customization; use a deep understanding of customer mindset and behavior to increase revenue and improve the user experience
  • Define growth plans and required investment in people and media dollars to what success looks like for each of our partners
  • Work closely with product and technology teams to help inform product strategies and introduce and prioritize optimizations that contribute to growth goals
  • Work closely with Finance & Operations to forecast our growth and set goals
  • Leverage data to uncover opportunities that help optimize growth strategy

 

Qualifications

  • Strategic, customer-centric thinker who understands business and brand complexities, and develops marketing approaches that address these nuances
  • Experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams
  • Strong customer-first culture building experience
  • At least one remarkable and recognizable GTM success story

 

 

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to refine the target market and set company-wide growth goals.
  • Craft Fullstack's go-to-market and overarching marketing strategy to achieve those goals.
  • Help develop and refine the Fullstack brand, including brand strategy, voice, and visual identity, to crystalize the value proposition and position the company as an industry leader.
  • Oversee the execution and evaluation of a wide range of marketing campaigns across key verticals and channels (owned, earned, and paid) to drive user acquisition.
  • Work with the CEO and external agencies to identify and pursue media interviews, speaking engagements, and other opportunities to showcase Fullstack's value and differentiate it in the accounting landscape.
  • Build, manage, and leverage a network of strategic partners who will serve as evangelists of the Fullstack brand and platform.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to inform product priorities and strategies that optimize for user retention and engagement.
  • Recruit, cultivate, and lead a high-performing, collaborative team of marketing and communications professionals.
  • Forecast and allocate an annual departmental budget, set goals and metrics, and measure and report out on progress.

 

You'll Be A Great Fit If You Are

  • An accomplished marketing executive with 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally at a tech company, agency or social network.
  • Passionate about and experienced (professionally or personally) with the stock market, plus familiar with the tech or crypto world and relevant communities.
  • Experienced in developing successful marketing and brand strategies and running campaigns in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Deeply knowledgeable about a variety of marketing verticals and channels (owned, earned, and paid), especially the latest digital mediums.
  • An expert at running analytically-rigorous marketing experiments and making objective, data-driven decisions.
  • A driven problem-solver who sets ambitious goals, rolls up their sleeves to get things done, and continuously iterates based on results.
  • A world-class communicator who possesses excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills.
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about coming up with creative ways to acquire target users more efficiently and effectively.
  • A high-EQ leader with a history of building, developing, and retaining outstanding teams.
