Description:
The ANZ Field Marketing Leader is responsible for defining and delivering a marketing strategy that supports achievement of sales growth goals within the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. As a member of the ANZ leadership team your local marketing plan will be tightly aligned with sales leaders (strategic account sales, territory sales, virtual sales and indirect Channel sales) across all addressable markets (Service Provider and Enterprise) and supported by regional marketing strategies and plans.
You will exploit your knowledge and experience of best-practice marketing techniques including ABM, Vertical, Demand, Digital and Channel. You will be the local expert, playing a pivotal role ensuring local requirements and insights are shared with other marketing functions in a timely and insightful manner to assist with program design, resourcing and budgeting.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing, APAC and has two field marketing managers as direct reports—a demand marketing manager and a channel marketing manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with multiple sales and marketing stakeholders to develop the ANZ marketing strategy and plan that supports local go-to-market plans and sales growth targets
- Lead, manage and inspire a small team of high-performing field marketing managers to design and execute program plans that deliver measurable results
- Interlock with regional field sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Driving local customer advocacy to support regional and global programs.
- Collaborate with regional demand centre (RDC) to ensure a cohesive creation, execution, and testing/optimization strategy exists to increase key results
- Collaborate with digital team on acquisition and engagement demand programs and ensures final tactic selection is appropriate for program design.
- Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs e.g. demand marketing agencies, tele-marketing services agencies, channel marketing concierge agencies
- Track, analyze and report on all ANZ marketing programs, adopting a constant review-learn-improve cycle
- Ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy regulations
- Manage and adhere to the field marketing budget

Requirements:
- At least 10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in roles involving people management and the delivery of sales demand
- Expertise in the Enterprise Networking hardware and software products gained through working for a vendor, carrier, SI or VAR within ANZ or APAC
- Team leadership and management experience including ability to develop and inspire a high performing team
- Budget planning and operations experience
- Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding of Service Provider and Enterprise market across ANZ
- Self-motivated to achieve business goals, ability & flexibility to adapt to new situation/environment
- Creativity, outside-the-box thinking for new ways to improve marketing productivity and outcomes
- Good team player, ability to communicate effectively and proactively.
- Able to quickly establish strong professional relationships with other functions within a complex and diverse organization
