Johnson Matthey is looking for Head of IT Assurance
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group’s IT assurance and working in conjunction with relevant key business and JMIT stakeholders;
- Develop a group wide risk-based IT assurance coverage plan for the department and ensure execution and delivery by optimising and directing the in-house assurance and risk team and co-source resources.
- Create and deliver risk-based IT assurance plan for the Group, alongside other corporate and regional assurance and risk team members, ensuring a consistent approach with high quality and timely planning, fieldwork and reporting;
- Identify risks, mitigating control activities and tests of control activities for audit purposes and work with functions and business units to implement recommendations;
- Monitor the implementation and reporting on the status of outstanding actions in relation to IT
- Benchmark and share trends/developments of best practices of audit, risk management and internal control;
- Provide advice on all aspects of internal control including interpretation of relevant policies and procedures, liaising with other internal assurance functions and external assurance providers where required;
Requirements For The Role
- Recognised local/international finance or audit qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/IIA)
- Significant experience in an internal audit environment, within professional services environment or industry, including significant experience of IT general controls auditing and programme assurance (IT and non-IT)
- Awareness and understanding of data analysis options, tools and techniques and experience of using data analytics tools to support audit
- Experience in risk-based auditing across a range of processes using latest audit methodologies and techniques
- Experience gained working in a complex manufacturing, large multinational or complex structured environment (audit or otherwise)
- Ability to thrive in the environment impacted by change and transformation
