At Koinly, we are building tools to enable the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency by automating the regulatory hurdles of tax compliance and asset tracking. Founded in 2018, Koinly is today used by thousands of cryptocurrency investors, accountants and blockchain businesses and is also the preferred tax partner for a number of leading cryptocurrency exchanges.

 

The Role

We are looking for a Head of Business Development who can define, develop and deliver the business development and sales strategy in line with business objectives. You will be an important part of a tight-knit remote team that thrives on a hands-on approach and is passionate about taking the business to the next level.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and scale Koinly's sales & business development team across multiple countries
  • Develop the sales strategy for the business across the cryptocurrency and accounting industry in line with the overall business strategy
  • Creating proposals, presenting to clients, and closing deals.
  • Deeply understand how Koinly operates and positions itself, in order to effectively prioritize work
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure we onboard partners and maximise the likelihood of a long term and beneficial partnership
  • Provide visible presence and represent the business at events, conferences and other networking opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments for effective networking
  • Accountable for the performance of sales, including budget, key metrics and objectives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience within a senior sales or BD role within the finance, cryptocurrency or accounting industry
  • Experience of developing partnerships with demonstrable examples of success
  • Highly organised, confident presenter with exceptional pitching skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to engage proactively with business partners
