About the role
Fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking infrastructure planning engineer to join our supportive Asset Planning team and lead the planning, scheduling and delivery of infrastructure to service an unprecedented level of growth north and west of the city.
In this role, you will bring to life exciting and innovative integrated water management solutions that realise lasting benefits to our region. You will deliver servicing strategies, master plans and investment business cases to support regional prosperity.
As the key team member, you are responsible for providing timely and professional strategic servicing advice and plans to key stakeholders.
About you

Highly technical, you have a demonstrated understanding of water and sewerage networks. While experience in computer based tools and hydraulic models would be advantageous.
As well as taking care of the technical side of the job, you thrive making the most of your natural communications skills, and have the ability to translate complex technical concepts using language your stakeholders can easily understand to drive optimal solutions.
You’ll bring along excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate true leadership qualities; and blend this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving. With these credentials, working collaboratively across the organisation, you will effectively engage the relevant stakeholders.
What we're looking for
With a bachelor or higher in civil, environmental, mechanical, or similar, you’re a developing technical professional, with solid hands on postgraduate work experience, ready to take the next step. You bring excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate true leadership qualities. Registration or ability to become registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Victoria is desirable for this position.
Your working history will include relevant sectors, including utilities, infrastructure or water services and can apply your sound knowledge to our complex water network.
