Light + Shade are on the hunt for a gun Senior Motion Graphics Designer and Editor to join the post-production team at Light + Shade Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected and awarded team of creatives. We’re a Production Company with an eclectic mix of passionate, multi-disciplinary creatives who love what they do and have fun along the way. 

Post Production at Light + Shade is a full service division that works as a complete package alongside our Pre + Production units as well as a stand alone department, servicing Advertising Agencies, Production Companies and/or direct clients. The department delivers TVC's, online ad content, broadcast documentaries and corporate content all under the one roof, from ingest and storage right through to finishing and delivery. Our post studio features three premium offline/ online edit suits with client monitors and lounges. Alongside online editing, colour grading and sound facilities.

We’re looking for:

• An ambitious senior motion graphics designer and Editor
• 6+ years experience in TV, post or advertising
• Someone who takes pride in what they do, with the ability to adapt to a variety of styles and genres
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop. Avid experience a bonus.
• Demonstrated experience in creating a story from a brief or RAW Media. 
• Demonstrated experience working to a brief/with other creatives to deliver the best possible outcomes. 
• Enjoys collaborating conceptually with the creative team and clients
• Strong eye for design, and ability to translate designs into motion
• Hands-on attitude, precision in workflows and output, adhering to deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and confident with running client review sessions 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environments, with tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
