We are currently recruiting for a Graphic & Digital Designer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 3 months.

About the role:
As the Graphic & Digital Designer you would be tasked with providing graphic and digital design solutions to the Architecture Design Strategy Division. Primarily you would be designing and delivering artefacts which support project delivery and the artefacts to support communication to internal and external stakeholders. You will work as part of the Experience Design team which is responsible for Customer Experience, Service Design User Experience and Digital Product Design across the Agency.
This role will deliver innovative and creative design solutions into the how the Agency delivers projects through quality communication, with the opportunity to work collaboratively with in this cross functional team delivering digital design solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for developing, designing and preparing a range of communication and design solutions for print and digital formats.
• Liaising with stakeholders and project teams to interpret needs and produce a brief and delivery plan for design deliverables.
• Actively collaborate and bring creative ideas and thinking to communicating complex outputs.
• Responsible for the delivery of design solutions to defined brief and agreed timeline.
• Execute multiple design briefs across multiple complex subject areas and delivery methods in a fast-moving environment.
• Translate complex briefs, project artefacts and information into clear communication deliverables, for a varying audience.
• Work across product design (UI) and communication design briefs and context switch accordingly.

About You:

• Experience working within the Government sector is desirable but not a necessity.
• 2 years' experience within a similar role.
• Experience with web design and delivering digital product design.Strong illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Cloud and Photoshops or equivalent software skills.
