We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Engineer to join our Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Team on the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project – Australia’s largest Public Transport Project. In this role, you will work with a dedicated T&C team to manage the testing and commissioning of signalling equipment accross the whole project from Chatswood to Bankstown to make sure Australia’s first driverless railway is ready for service!
Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:
Production of the T&C documentation for the project including T&C Procedures, T&C Reports, Punch List management and test reports
Witness and perform specific tests on the system, including assisting with the planning and coordination of site tests
Create and run action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the system, aiming to reach the performances targets
Manage the system configuration during the successive tests phases
Keep in frequent communication to the Project Commissioning Manager regarding T&C progress and issue resolution.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Systems preferred)
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Excel
Enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and ask questions.
