The range of health services provided include acute inpatient and emergency care, population and public health, mental health, Aboriginal health, aged care and includes increasing number of services provided by telehealth videoconferencing.

Employment on offer for a general surgeon to work as a full-time consultant and head of department. You will be required to provide a high standard of surgical care to patients.

• Provide administrative leadership in combination with other Surgeons and with the clinical nurse specialist of Surgery.
• Participate in programs to ensure safety and quality of surgical services including audit, incident review and clinical practice improvement projects.
• Take responsibility for policy development review and provide training, supervision and education for trainee medical officers.

• Must have full Registration with AHPRA as a specialist in General Surgery.
• GESA accreditation for colonoscopy is required.
