General Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Director, the General Manager will support the daily business operation, while leading the design, delivery, and implementation of sound, people-centered business solutions.

This multifaceted role will also see you working in close collaboration with the Director and other business leaders to identify, develop, implement and drive organisational initiatives and key commercial outcomes.

The Right Person

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in Business or Commerce
• Proven experience in General Management or Operations Management and an understanding of the requirements of running a small to medium business
• Commercially savvy with a strong customer service focus
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with the Director and staff at all levels
• Ability to successfully deliver the strategy and achieve quality, efficiency and commercial outcomes
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and tasks with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to oversee the financial performance of the business, including accountability for the budget and financial reporting
• Highly motivated, committed and team focused with a can-do attitude
