Reporting into the CEO, Crown Sydney, the GM Marketing Sydney represents a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative team to drive highly innovative, data driven marketing strategy across gaming, hospitality, communications, events and partnerships whilst ensuring alignment with Crown’s group marketing and brand strategy.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

 

  • Leading the development of the annual property marketing strategy, key themes and detailed property tactical activity plans including plans for Responsible Practices (Responsible Service of Alcohol, Responsible Gambling and Player Health)
  • Work with Gaming Operations, Hotel and Food & Beverage teams to identify needs and opportunities that require marketing support. Collaborate with PR and group marketing resources to innovate, create and execute on tactical programs, events and promotions
  • In collaboration with the customer analytics team, use business performance data and post campaign analytics to identify opportunities for changes in mechanics to drive improved performance
  • Drive a continuously forward-looking culture in the team generating research, validation, new idea proposals and industry-standard methodology solutions
  • Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures in relation to marketing and advertising codes, Responsible Service of Gaming (including training), and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct

     

Key Selection Criteria

 

  • Extensive marketing experience including senior leadership with accountability for management & financial delivery
  • Prior experience in Integrated resorts/casino marketing or similar industry preferred
  • A track record of successful marketing promotions and campaigns through effective use of databases and social media platforms
  • Values based leadership approach, including the ability to model and drive cultural change across a team
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Has or is able to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses
