General Manager

Our client is a significant private equity backed health services organisation who are a market leader within their segment. Over recent years, they have begun to expand into relevant adjacent business lines, focusing on high growth health segments where they can utilise competitive advantage. As a result of this expansion strategy, we are currently seeking a General Manager to lead one of these business lines. Whilst the foundations of the division are solid, there is significant opportunity to evolve these foundations and drive growth through business development activities and M&A. The Executive Leadership Team and Board are excited and highly supportive of the growth opportunity.

As General Manager, you will report through to the Chief Operating Officer and enjoy broad P&L responsibilities. You will be responsible for devising the strategic growth plans for the business including both business development activities, strategic marketing and exploring M&A opportunities. You will also be responsible for evolving and enhancing the operations of the business which focuses on people, process and systems. Building a cohesive and inspired team environment will also be key to your success.

We are seeking a commercial General Manager from the health services industry who offers a strong operational background. In addition, you will have demonstrated an ability and passion for growing a business, ideally utilising technology advancements in a dynamic setting. Your team is significant and geographically dispersed and a track record of leadership success in a similar environment would be advantageous.
