About this opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role in generating income streams for Community First Step. This is a wonderful opportunity to make your mark in this new role, establishing, growing, and directing fundraising within Community First Step.
You will also be responsible for identifying and strengthening stakeholder relationships, exploring collaboration and partnerships, and identifying new corporate and philanthropic partnerships, trusts and foundations, government engagement and a diverse range of grants, proposals and community fundraising activities to progress the purpose of Community First Step.
You will lead the development and execution of Community First Step’s fundraising strategy to engage, secure and sustain significant investment and drive long-term sustainability. You will also play an integral role in articulating our value proposition through your key involvement in our social impact program of work. The role requires big picture thinking as well as a detailed focus and hands-on approach in order to raise income to fund the vision and hit significant targets.
This leadership role will work closely with senior leaders. You will also work alongside the Marketing and Communications Manager to produce meaningful and impactful messaging and campaigns that encourage audiences to journey towards investing in our impact and engaging with our services.
About you
· Proven work experience as a Fundraising Manager or a related role (minimum 3 years), and within a not-for-profit environment
· Demonstrated fundraising and business development skills and a proven track record in achieving revenue targets and growing income.
